Traditions can be powerfully symbolic. The smell of turkey on Thanksgiving Day, hanging ornaments on the Christmas tree, lighting fireworks on the Fourth of July. But if you do those symbolic acts just to do them, they become meaningless. Today, Pastor Ken reminds you that spiritual traditions can turn into empty rituals as well. There are deep, powerful truths behind them—but if you practice them out of habit alone, you’re missing the point. He challenges you to ask yourself, “Why am I doing this?”

Every job involves an evaluation. Whether it’s a formal sit-down with the boss or an informal pop-in from the principal, every head of a school or business wants to know what results you are producing. But today, Pastor Ken reminds you that Jesus isn’t the CEO of a company. Of course, He wants you to be faithful with the time and talents He has entrusted you with, but at the end of the day, He accepts you, not what you have produced for Him. Be faithful with what He has given you, but rest in His acceptance.

Sometimes we just go through the motions. You drive the same route and suddenly realize you’re speeding without thinking. You flop onto the couch at night and flip on the same channel out of habit. Today, Pastor Ken warns that we can do the same thing spiritually. You open your Bible in the morning, say a quick prayer, and move on with your day. But have you paused to ask why you’re doing it—or whether your heart is actually engaged?

When a car starts moving past fifteen miles per hour, it becomes harder and harder to stop. As the momentum of the car builds, it gains traction, and nothing but another heavy object can stop it! In today’s message, Pastor Ken says Jesus is already on the move, God’s plan is in play, and nothing can stop it. He’s had a plan from the beginning! He loves you and wants you to trust Him so He can be in eternity with you! Put your faith in the death and resurrection of Jesus and allow God to shape your life!

Have you ever read a textbook and had to do your own research on the side just to find out the textbook wasn’t completely right? I know I did that often in college! I would look at something and make sure that what it was proclaiming was fully accurate. Today, Pastor Ken says you must check that everything you read online is accurate according to scripture. The Bible is the word of the Lord, and it’ll give you all the answers to life. Don’t just listen to what others say, run to scripture for your answers!

When I was younger, I was put in sports, and what I learned seemed super boring, but I knew that it would help me be a better athlete in the future. I had to trust that my coaches knew what was better for me, even if it felt mundane and simple. It’s the simple things that have helped me become a better athlete! In today’s message, Pastor Ken shows us how the Bible is all connected. Everything in scripture leads back to Jesus! God fulfils all His promises, and He’s still fulfilling His promises today!

I’ve been getting a lot of those videos on my phone of kids running away from home, eventually realizing how scary the world is without their parents. They always end up going back to their parents and are welcomed by a warm embrace! Today, Pastor Ken says you must fall at the feet of Jesus every day and give Him worship because He’s worthy of it! You can’t live this life on your own. Trust in Him and allow Him to lead you through the highs and lows of this life. I promise you, He’ll never lead you astray!

For some reason, everyone can tell you if something is good or wicked. There’s an innate thought process in our head when we see something bad to call it bad. Today, Pastor Ken tells us why that’s so. He says it’s because the enemy has a lot of his minions doing the dirty work for him. You see, typically, Satan won’t personally attack you, but he’ll send his minions to try to get to you. You must stand firm in the Gospel and remember that God’s already crushed the serpent’s head. There’s victory in Him!
