What happens at the Christmas party

What happens when you get a group of people together and the punchbowl is spiked at a Christmas party. This is a laugh out loud story of a company party where different scenarios are occurring. I enjoyed the story from beginning to end.

slow burn

Twila is on her way to her office Holiday party when she finds herself stuck in the elevator with her boss Nathan (Nasty Nate). With the tension and annoyance building between them the hotter the elevator gets. Literally hotter wait to be rescued halfway up to the 32 floor of their office building. Great story I definitely recommend.

Cute Contemp Romance: Forced Proximity

A super cute, short contemporary romance using the forced proximity (stalled elevator) trope with a hint of previous one night stand. Author narrated....and well presented.

Short. Funny. Sexy.

This novella was adorably funny. I loved all of the Hanukah jokes inside a Christmas book. “”Guilt and matzah balls”

Great read.

I absolutely loved listening to this story. I really enjoyed the characters. Lots of laughs. Y'all are gonna love it.

Irreverent humor + holiday romance

This cute holiday novella brims with sass. The banter was clever and snarky. I really liked this story but as with every good novella, I didn't want the story to end. I wanted more: more snark, more character development, more storyline. For a novella, though, it packed a lot into a little bit of time. A few secondary characters had interesting side storylines going and I hope to see those developed into more.

The narration was well done by one of the authors.

Fun Holiday Romance Read!

The Ugly Sweater Party is a funny holiday workplace romance and the audio version as narrated by one of it’s authors Odessa Alba was voiced to perfection and a delight.
When Director of Finance Twila Henderson and VP Nate DuPont are stuck in the company elevator as its on the way up to the workplace Christmas party the past history they have that only she remembers will flare up between them again.
Ever since that kiss in the copy room two years prior at that Christmas party Twila couldn’t forget about Nate. Though they’d both been deep into the spiked eggnog their make out moment she’d never forgotten.
Loved the story but it was those secondary characters who were some of the funniest, quirkiest, likable employees who complimented “Nasty Nate” and Twila’s reigniting romance as he slowly begins to experience an epiphany about the person he was and has now become with Twila’s nudging.
Never laughed so hard as when those elevator doors opened and Nate and Twila get caught in a compromising position.
A spicy listen with adult language, scenarios, and personal vulnerabilities,
I was enchanted by this short entertaining romantic romp.

There were some side stories thrown in as well that caught me off guard. Nate and Twila are totally the opposite attract and are forced to confront their attraction while stuck in an elevator. It was a fun short story to listen to.

Phil and his trainee Beth the elevator repair workers come to their aid. This is a two couple romance that I enjoyed reading. This is a new Author to me. I enjoyed listening to Odessa Alba narrate their story.
