The Tutor's Daughter

The Tutor's Daughter was an incredible story that I had a hard time putting down. The suspense, faith and romance made it an incredible journey.

Out of all the characters, I absolutely loved Adam. I was so happy to see that Emma and Henry loved him the way that he deserved and in is own way, he got his happy ending.

I highly recommend this book but would add a tissue warning because there are parts that will have a reader sobbing. It is that wonderful!!!

Emma Smallwood being a humble tutors daughter

This story again by the author, Julie Klassen is a sweet and romantic one. Loved hearing Elizabeth Jasicki speaking all the parts of the characters.

Excellent! Another fabulous book by Klassen!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes, well written and performed.

Any additional comments?

Another excellent rendering by Julie Klassen and Elizabeth Jasicki! This is my third one so far and I have really enjoyed them and am so glad I discovered them! Just enough mystery to be exciting! And I'm thinking it's such a shame that today's society is in such a hurry - so much of a rush for everything from conversation to love that all is lost in text messages, faxes, speed dating, internet dating, sex before marriage, "trial" marriages, etc. If one always chooses to put the cart in front of the horse, which direction will you go? Backward is my observation.

We live in a "progressive" society?!

Thoroughly enjoying these adventures in past days and times. :-)

Great read...

This book started slow but heated up about half way through. I enjoyed the references regarding faith and it add strength to the book.

There were several twists and turns that kept me interested. The narrator did a good job and overall I am pleased with this novel.

Inspiration apparently = Christian

Loved the basic story but wasn’t expecting a lesson in Christianity. It sort of soured the story for me as a non-Christian. Morality would be fine, but this level of Christian content should really be stated up front somehow so we can make an informed choice about whether or not to read it.

This Book was GREAT BUT....

Great narrator and good story...the tale could be a lot shorter though if people had just spoken honestly together instead of supposition, assuming and jumping to very poor conclusions- which is very surprising since they were supposed intelligent people.

Sweet story

The story is a gentle love story with examples of how evil can change how we think of others, what we expect, and the limitations we set based on those thoughts. The narration is slow with little excitement or even emphasis.
