A great book for kids and adults alike

This is a great book to remind us all that there are always two sides to every story. It is a great way to teach kids this lesson.

This isn't the original drama attached to the book

Is there anything you would change about this book?

I would release the original broadcast. The readings were superb and it was hilarious,

What was one of the most memorable moments of The True Story of the Three Little Pigs?

His take on the story, the neighbors and newspaper/tv journalists weighing it-too precious! Sad it gone! This is a great fractured Fairytale for kids!

What aspect of Paul Giamatti’s performance would you have changed?

Okay, not great.

Did The True Story of the Three Little Pigs inspire you to do anything?

If you enjoy this as my children really did, then go on to Patricia Wrede's YA Fantasy novel called Calling On Dragons. Fractured Fairytale writing at its best!

Any additional comments?

If you, like me, are busy looking for the original-then don't bother! But now you know, you can buy it just to hear the story. Amazon does have them, but they are over $22 for the cassette! Still eBay and Amazon are always open!

He was framed!

Would you listen to The True Story of the Three Little Pigs again? Why?

Yes, and will listen to it often. I first found this book during a book drive thing our school did when I was a kid. Its only seven minutes and done amazingly well by famed actor Paul Giamatti. As a kid, i loved this book, and now all grown up it still makes me giggle. I will keep returning to this, and since its so short I may just take out my earbuds and get others to listen to. Its just that kinda story I'm sure will at least make you giggle in a couple parts.

Which character – as performed by Paul Giamatti – was your favorite?

The "big,bad" Wolf, definitely.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I laughed out a few times. And I'm still craving a cheeseburger (that will make sense after you listen to it, and since its only 7 minutes or so, that shouldn't take long.)

Any additional comments?

If your a child, or child at heart, you should know the story of the three little pigs. And BOTH sides of the story should be told. My only complain is your paying about a dollar a minute, but since it has music, and Paul brings his best to the mic, it's still debatable if it should be cheaper or if the price is right. Either way, I think its really worth a listen. And anyone who is disappointed believes the three little pigs' side anyway!
