The first part of the book was about Adrian Mole, and was in his voice. Much of this was fine, except a list of questions sent to Adrian by an American that was tedious and pointless. The second part of the book was in the author's voice, and described her experiences, which was very surprising to a reader expecting to hear about Adrian Albert Mole.
