When I tell her that I don’t need her, she begs me to let her stay. She needs this job, and so I cave.

Fantastic wounded hero romance

I received this as an arc from the author and I’m voluntarily leaving my honest review.

This was a fantastic wounded hero romance. Heath was the greatest grumpy hero and I loved him. Corinne was just the perfect match for Heath, she instinctively knew how to help him. They had amazing chemistry and they just fit. I simply loved this story.

I listened to the audiobook version and overall I liked it but the male narrator did have a tendency to overact when narrating other characters than Heath and I’m not really a fan of that. But the female narrator was great.

Sweet novella

A sweet instalove novella about a Navy SEAL and his caregiver. I struggled a little with the audio bc the FMC’s voice was much softer than the male’s so I had to adjust volume as I listened.
