2) we all know 10 spatial dimensions have not been detected and string theory has not been proven through experiment, because we don’t have the technology to do so. In 1960’s Peter Higgs hypothesized and the mathematics indicated a Higgs Boson. It took 50 years for LHC to be invented to discover the Higgs. Strings are tremendously smaller so we may never have the technology to see a string.

The math of string theory can choke a horse, I think the author has only read the Greene books and not read any written papers. Ed Witten is the most cited physicist/mathematician ever, so I trust Witten rather than this author. String theory should not stop, it’s not wrong, yet. (We all know Pauli).

Bottom line, this author is jealous because String Theorist make more money and sell more books than him. You want more money, get a part time job.
