An old-style, BBC-esque sci-fi show. Brilliant!

This time-travel epic begins simply enough with a young lady being kidnapped, but evolves into so much more! Introduction into this universe will be immediately familiar to fans of Dr. Who. By chapter 5, the single-narrator production has broken out into a complete ensemble cast of characters which is frankly stunning. I didn't particularly care for one or two of them, but the overall effect is evocative of an old BBC science fiction radio show. Brilliant! Zak Standridge wrote for several years for a magazine called 'Chromakey', and if you've seen an issue then you know it's apparently published under some subsidiary of the BBC. Fans of the eponymous time-travel series are rewarded here with two lead characters, both with temporal abilities. In a time where people are arguing about whether or not the doctor should be a lady or a man... here are a man and a woman, both complete equals. This tale of a an accidental lord of time is smart, action-filled, funny, heart-warming, and absolutely the perfect addition to any iTunes or Audible library...
