Publisher's Summary

When Chris's ex-boyfriend leaves him high and dry, he never thinks he'll love again. He is young and successful, but his ex has beat his spirit down until he feels like nothing.

Then he meets Mason in the tropics of Costa Rica, who shows him that when you let go, and let a real man take charge, you can keep your independence but gain love (and mind-blowing sex) from the most unlikely places, even your personal trainer.

If I could give it no stars I would

This story felt rushed and incomplete. None of plots that were building up met ends. Even when he ended up with Mason, nothing came from that but two not even sexy sex scene (very dry). We didn’t get to see any endings from the climaxes of the story. It felt like the author was just like “oh nooo I need to turn this end let me do one last sex scene real quick so no will notice I didn’t finish the book.”

Maybe skip this one

The description of the book let’s you know right away this is going to be a light read/listen. I found it a bit boring. The biggest reactions I had were caused by the narration. The female voices were horrible. The females were rude, annoying and stereotypical. It’s almost as if he made up the screechiest voice he could to make these women as bad as possible. The writing already took care of that. I won’t be trying another Jamie Lake or Pete Carlson offering.
