Remarkable and moving biography
Enjoyed every chapter. A truly remarkable woman. I was surprised by the folly she displayed resulting from her infatuation with a stable boy. However, a very strong, courageous, intelligent, and charismatic leader, famous for her beauty.

Very enjoyable listen!
I learned about an historical figure I never knew about and with such great story telling that I feel so inspired by this amazing women and enjoyed learning about her so much! Narration was excellent.

Incredibly boring
I truly don't understand the raves for this title. My attention kept wandering. While the narrator can obviously master Italian pronunciation it was just so dry and boring. I love historical fiction, historical non- fiction...various eras...but this book just did not pull me in. Disappointed.
