Publisher's summary

This is audiobook seven in Anthony J Melchiorri’s The Tide series.

Even the oceans are no longer safe from the scourge of the biological weapon known as the Oni Agent. Governments struggle to stand under the weight of civilization's collapse. Some remnants of human society have risen from the ashes. But the radical military organization responsible for the Agent has developed a new weapon more terrifying than their last. Rumors spread that a ghost fleet of ships have been commandeered to deliver the killing blow that will destroy any hope of humanity’s resurrection.

Captain Dominic Holland and his group of covert operatives are charged with uncovering the whereabouts of the fleet and stopping them before they reach land. On a mission that takes them around the crumbling strongholds of Europe, they uncover a plot more sinister than they could have possibly imagined. With few resources and little time, Dom and his Hunters put their lives on the line to save the world from utter destruction. But even that may not be enough.

Great book, unprepared narrator

as always it's another good book and another great ending. it just felt like the narrator didn't do a lot of prepping before this book. a lot of voices were a little bit off and the dialogue wasn't always being there rated in the right voice. overall he got it together and it made for another great listen

Rich story line

I really enjoy the story line in this series, it twists and turns. I like the new take on how the dead look with their skeletal forms on the outside as armor plating. As always R.C. Bray is awesome.

a good installment

This is another really action packed installment of The Tide Series. Don't look for a literary masterpiece with lots of hidden meaning or depth. This is a book about action & surviving from Point A to Point B. I love the narrator in this book, he has a lovely voice to listen to. My only complaint is that it really seems impossible that The Hunters could possible survive any more than what they've gone through already. I look forward to the next book in the series.

it's ok

I find myself skipping some of the story in audible. I just can't stand Meredith or Dom for that matter. I root for Meredith to get eaten. In book 1, she is a pencil pusher. By the time you get to this book, she does everything. In the beginning In book 1 all she did was send the Hunters to their next assignment. Now she is questioning Dom's orders in front of his men. And all Dom does is get his men killed. Sheppard and Frank should be running this show. What are we down to 4 Hunters fighting thousands. where do they keep all those bullets on themselves. Also, who is making all those bullets now. Also Dom is losing Hunters and doesn't even save one and let's him die but if it was Meredith, it would have been different. His Hunters would die for him, but he doesn't return the same. My biggest problem is why when they should be quiet they are always yelling. (GO,GO,GO).

Ok

The servers are just ok. I feel like the story is lacking and most of the book is spent describing each battle more than a story. 90% is about aiming down the site at shooting and 10% story. Please start planning out story better and less about zombie hordes.
