Publisher's Summary

Seeing the future is a curse that Abigail Weston has carried her entire life. Knowing how and when someone will be hurt, or the whereabouts of missing people haunts her enough to move away from the town that no longer trusts her.

When real estate developer Carson Stone meets the intuitive Abigail, he can't help but feel the connection to her and wonder if love at first sight is possible, especially since they share a passion for old buildings. She believes they all should remain, while he builds new ones in their place.

No matter Abigail's feelings for Carson, knowing that their future is to be together does not ensure them a happily-ever-after, especially if she can't figure out what the other side is trying to show her - because in her visions Carson's future is dark and cold.

Sweet relationship

This book is a really sweet paranormal romance. When Abigail Weston and Carson Stone meet, neither of them are interested in a serious relationship but fate seems to have other plans. Everything is strained by Abigail’s unusual ability to see the future when she touches another person. The main characters are so well-written they seem like real people we already know. Their struggles and fights really strike home as they try to navigate their deepening relationship. This book is very different from ones we normally read but it felt like coming home to something soft and cozy. And while we didn’t get the explicit sex scenes we typically like, the relationship was so strong it felt like we did.

Weak

Weak storyline. Performance was one note. Character development was practically non existent. Story had such potential.
