Publisher's summary

The day Gavin died was the best and worst day of his life so far.

The worst because he lost his beloved in the fire that killed them both, but the best because he was set free from his mortal shell, by Saul. The mightiest demon to ever wander the wasteland of Hades.

It is only with our last breath that one of us, (God's children) is permitted to sell our soul to another. The cost is always high and the reward usually fleeting. Yet for Gavin, this was not to be the case. He vowed revenge on the men who murdered his beloved, and he was determined to get it.

So when a soul as damaged and twisted as Gavin's is sold to a demon as dark and evil as Saul, (the bringer of the black plague), the only thing that can follow is devastation and the possible decimation of the human race.

Humanity's only savior is the psychic Clara, the guardian and keeper of the Dragonfire which is embedded in the tapestry on her wall. The mysteries of the magical tapestry are kept from her until the time comes for her to become the guardian. The dragons are there to guide her and help her on her journey. But can she 'become' the guardian in time to save the children?

The Tapestry is a truly horrific tale which will turn your blood cold and bring a tear to your eye, so settle yourself down for the night. Just don't forget to leave the light on.

A fascinating story!

“The Tapestry” is a dark, haunting, gritty and highly entertaining story. First of all, I should note here that I really liked the protagonist’s voice: it’s dark humor and sarcasm at its best, which made the story itself even better. The narrator Lawrence Burgess did a fabulous job in bringing him to life and the sound effects definitely made an already compelling story even more atmospheric and chilling. Also, what I enjoyed about this quite an unusual story of a lost soul looking for salvation, is that it dwells on eternal questions, like if love really can save you, should you forgive your enemies even if they wronged you in the worst way, and what’s most important – how do you free yourself from the chains of the past.
Gavin – the Freak as everyone calls him – is tortured and killed in his own house, and as his spirit leaves his body, an ancient power, demon Saul looking for the world domination decides to offer Gavin a deal: an almost unrestrained power to avenge himself in exchange…well, you probably know the deal. I won’t reveal the rest of the plot, but trust me, you'll enjoy every second of it! Highly recommended to all fans of the dark fiction.

Dark Adult Fairytale

The Tapestry is a dark fiction book filled with sarcastic humor and twist and turns. This book may sound like a fair8but do not get it twisted in your head it is definitely not for children. The sto8is engaging, gruesome, and very descriptive. If you graphic horror mixed with revenge and salvation this book I would highly recommend. This is my honest unbiased review that I am voluntarily leaving of my own volition.
