I had big plans for my life once, but nothing was turning out like I thought it would. One day I looked in the mirror and the strong, creative girl of my childhood wasn’t smiling back at me anymore. From the moment she peeked her head around the corner of that weather-worn Victorian cottage, I knew there was something special about her. Then I realized that she was going to be one of those clients that thought being involved in the restoration project was helpful, when really, she was just going to get in the way.

But why did she have to end up being so cute, and so … likable? No, I made peace with my romantic solitude a long time ago and know that love isn’t in the cards for me. People with dark secrets like mine don’t deserve a chance at that kind of happiness. Plus, she has a boyfriend.

Yet every time she comes around I can’t help but wonder … What if I could still be salvageable like this old seaside cottage?

Very sweet story with a happy ending I would recommend it to anyone looking for an uplifting book

A little too religious, but easy to read

Nice, easy read. More faith and ministry than expected and liked, but the stories were nice enough to keep going. I suggest adding the preechy approach to its categories.

Clean romance and a relaxing narrator

I find these books to be very relaxing with the soothing narrator but sometimes the plot is a little slow. The best book is book 2.

Sweet, small town, Romance

This was a perfect read. It was sweet. It had a small town. And it was romance. The characters were fun and pull the story all together.

The banter between all the characters

Great read, east to follow the different voices . Narrated very well . Overall good relaxing read
