Publisher's summary

Photographer Quinn Parker is getting married in a month, and she's almost happy about it. Even though her mother is planning the whole wedding. Even though she's secretly had the hots for Simon Chase forever. But he's her best friend's brother and her coworker...off-limits even if she were single. So she's marrying the man who should be her perfect match - and that's that.

Simon Chase's life revolves around his family's storm-chasing business. The meteorologist of the bunch, he'd rather be out in the weather than reporting it - especially if Quinn Parker is along to photograph the run. He's been hiding his crush on her for a long time, and it's only intensified. But she's marrying someone else - and that's that.

Or is it? When a Chase family wedding sets the stage for body temperatures to rise and the pressure of Quinn's impending wedding to build, a new reality breaks. Quinn and Simon discover their unrequited affections have been mutual all along. When the gathering storm of their attraction finally reaches its peak, will it leave their lives in shambles? Or will they find shelter in each other?

Way way too much build up

The entire story was build up and the end fizzled out. I don't like love triangle or dumb heroines that continue to do stupid things without learning from their mistakes. When Quinn first starts out telling us about her "perfect" finance its obvious he is far from that. Never once in the story does she convince us or herself that she ever really liked her fiancé much less loved him as her perfect match. There is really no steam in this story at all except a brief scene at the very end of the book. A real letdown

Lots of good moments but I did skip ahead at times

Lots of good moments but I did find myself skipping ahead at times because of the irritating fiance. Got tired of hearing him and her mom badger her about everything and her just grinning and barring it. It was awesome when she finally let everyone have it, just before her sister goes into labor. The labor scenes were down right hilarious!

The h is a 30 year old teenager that can't determine if she is going to be defiant or spineless. She allows her mom and fiance to control her life but it bothers her. She tries to be snarky but mostly gives in. She cheats (kissing and thoughts) on her fiance, then treats the H like dirt, even though he stopped it from proceeding. She knows that she doesn't love her fiance but is intent on going through with it.

Things work out at the very end but it felt rushed and forced.

I do like the author and definitely liked the story but wish the h had been written at her age.
