GREAT STORY - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

I read this book and enjoyed the story so much I wanted it read to me. It took me a couple of chapters to get use to the NY accents and the narrator, but overall it was great. It gets straight into the plot which is sharp and precise. In the UK tormented mother dies, daughters to go to NY to settle some business and from then its flash backs to the 70's with her daugther realising she's meeting her mother as a teenager. Is it possible for the daughter to change the events of the past for a happier ending?? Its such any easy listen to and grabs your attention. Its one of those ... What's Going to Happen Next ... stories which hooks you

Genius

One of my favourite films is frequency as well as Groundhog Day and sliding doors so alternate reality stories always intrigue me. This one is genius. One of the best I have read in a long time and certainly Rowan Coleman's best yet. It just has to be a film, surely! Well done Missus! X

Unusual, a proper tale for grown ups

I really enjoyed this book, it was "different" and the narrator Imogen Church was excellent.

Impossibly Enjoyable

An interesting concept and lovely characterisations in an intriguing story. Narrator mostly clear, but dropped to whispers sometimes.

Perfection

Beautifully written, sensitive and funny. A wonderfully heartfelt story about love and family. I am sad to have reached the end.

Brilliant

Loved the book from the start. Liked the characters in the family and friends. Liked the slow start to the romance of her and Michael. Couldn't wait to hear the next chapters. A brilliant holiday read.

Silly story...

Good narration, although quite quiet in places. Main issue was the story makes no sense whatsoever... the time travel that is supposed to be clever leaves paradoxes and plot holes all over the place.

A joyful, moving story of love, life and something we’ve all wished we could do.

Fantastic character voices by Imogen.

Reminiscent of The Time Travellers Wife particularly towards the end.

Loved the accuracy of the location in all the little details and the role of film and photos to the story.

Anyone who has recovered from depression will understand the love and gratitude for life, love, family and friends that you can really feel coming out of this story.

Great, easy read.

Compelling and engaging

Plan to listen to this when you have a lot of time available because you won't want to even pause it. It draws you in with its intriguing characters and unexpected shifts. Another excellent recommendation from Marian Keyes.
