Publisher's Summary

The Fae have fallen.

Our world isn’t what it used to be. Fae were once revered as saviors and now? Hated doesn’t even begin to describe it. As if it wasn’t bad enough that the elites no longer hold the power in Ancetol, the guy I love is in prison for life and my best friend? She disappeared without a trace - kidnapped - and I’ve made it my personal mission to save her. To call my life complicated would be an understatement, but it gets worse when an old enemy resurfaces and threatens to slaughter the already tenuous peace in our city.

The strong have to rise, before life as we know it is stolen.

If you love hearing about childhood friends, enemies-to-lovers, royal and celebrity classmates, and everything Fae, then get this audiobook today and fall into this magical new series that's Gossip Girl meets My Hero Academia! This upper YA/NA series is intended for mature audiences. It contains cursing, sexual situations, bullying, and violence.

Darker than book 1 & 2

Narrators are the same as from books 1 and 2. Pleasant to listen to.

This book starts off a few years after the ending of book 2 and is darker than the previous books. This one is definitely more dystopian. Reina and her team are searching for her best friend, who is still missing. Fae are mysteriously loosing their powers. No-one knows how or why this strange phenomenon is causing Fae to loose their gift. Nor where it hits, except that it occurs in the city so Fae are fleeing the city because there is no protection from it. Which, of course, add a lot of dystopian vibes.

I loved it

As the other ones, this book is full of amazing descriptions and characters. Every emotion felt so real, everyone was so real. Miranda wasn’t as bad since last book but in this one she proved to be an extremely loyal friend and a good person deep inside. Her Gift, visions, was an important part of this book and I think Brittni did an amazing job playing with them and the development of the story.

Long story short, I loved this saga, goes to my favorites shelf and obviously recommend 100% to give it a try.

Also, Lessa Lamb goes to my favorites narrators.

really enjoyed this series!

I was seconds away from buying the paperback of this book on Amazon before I saw it was available on audible. I started this series last summer and was eager to read the last book! Lessard Lamb and Matthew H Longoria really brought the characters to life and as always Brittni Chanelle delivered another amazing story!

I was introduced to this series by Brittni Chenelle via Audiobx. Thank you soo much for sending me that code! You started me on a journey into the world of the fae academy which never disappointed! I think I enjoyed this book most of all because of the way you brought the characters full circle and shown that goodness, faith, friendship and love prevails. Great story! Great Narrators! The End

Wow, this book was so well written and wrapped the series up nicely. I'm sad to see it end as I was really sucked into the story. Both narrators were wonderful and able to make the book come alive. I definitely recommend.

Wonderful series!

The narrators really did a wonderful job portraying Reina and Kaito. It was a easy flow, and I enjoyed listening to both POVs.
The book had great pacing throughout and it kept me on the edge of the seat. I really loved how the author concluded the villain. Very different from the usual and that was nice to see. There is a lot of character growth that we see from the first book to the last installment. Bittersweet ending. 💓

Extended finale/epilogue

I received a free audio copy of this book directly from the author for an honest review.

3 1/2 ⭐️
I’m probably in the minority being disappointed with this book. I so so loved the first two of this series and they were really fast paced and the main problem was solved. This book is based years in the future and what they had thought well maybe not so much. It feels almost like an extended finale of the last book and epilogue in an odd sort of way. I still loved the characters and world but I almost felt like I’d seen it before? 😖 I’m most definitely in the minority in this opinion though so please don’t be discouraged and make sure to read the finale for yourselves!

Exceptional story and narrators.

I have listened to and fell in love with the first 2 books in this series. I really didn't want it to end but all good things must come to an end and what an end. Honestly this is one of my favourite series. The narrators are brilliant how the make the characters come to life. You're totally invested in the story and what happens.
Kaito has been in prison for 3 years for being the leader of the Fallen. Reina has moved on and is now a fully fledged member of the Fae helping to protect Ansitol from crime. But the fae are losing their powers and deserting Ansitol in droves. Someone they thought was gone is back. Reina hasn't stopped searching for her missing friend Bree but she must also now face an enemy she doesn't know if she beat. An epic conclusion to this series. I loved every single book. Thank you Brittni Chenelle for giving me an Arc of this book as I begged you because I was desperate to know how it finished and it was amazing. The opinions are my own but use your credits on this series. You will love it.
