I know everyone says they’re stressed out, but I really am. I picked up this audiobook feeling frustrated and overwhelmed, but hoping for the best. There are many reasons why I like this book. It recognizes that there is not one solution that fits all. It provides many ideas to manage stress that don’t require money or big blocks of time. It acknowledges different sources of stress that may persist, but offers ideas for managing the stress. The most enlightening part for me is the advice to reflect on your stress management attempts in a journal, so you can see/document how stress is manifested and what is or isn't working to manage the stress. I was surprised that just because a method of stress management may work for you, it may not always work for you, necessitating exploring another approach. I recommend this book for people who don’t like being squeezed into a mold but like evaluating solutions to try for a time to fit their personality and situation.
