Beautiful story and wonderful narration

Ms. Hunter’s books are always wonderful. I love the tone and narration for this one. (Although hearing Max without a Russian accent and Renata without Italian was a bit disconcerting at first). Highly recommend this edition to the prior Irin books.

LOVE this series

The Storm, the 6th book in the Irin Chronicles, features Maxim and Renata as the 2 main characters. I'm so glad we finally learn more about Renata, and the very, very long journey she takes to finally finding some happiness and love with Max. Obviously I knew they were going to get there in the end, but there were times throughout the story where it really felt like they weren't going to make it *sigh of relief when they finally work it out*.

Listening to the Audio version, I didn't realise that the bonus novella 'Song for the Dying' was only included in the ebook version until I got to the end of the audio of The Storm. REALLY wanted that bonus novella as it's more Leo and Kyra, Max and Renata - fortunately The Storm is currently in KU so I was able to borrow it. I can't get enough of these characters and their world.
