When Brooks volunteered to be a stand-in for Burdette's cousin who got stood up for homecoming, it was with the noblest of intentions - helping a fellow human being, free of charge. But when he gets a tip of more than 300 bucks, word spreads quickly and Brooks seizes the opportunity to offer his impeccable escort services to super-wealthy parents who want their daughters to experience those big social events of senior year. Besides, Brooks could use the cash to hire a tutor to get admitted to Columbia University. So what if along the way he goes along with a few minor deceptions and cuts a few moral corners? If you've seen the Netflix show based LOOSELY

If you've seen the Netflix show based (LOOSELY) off this novel, you may enjoy this book but beware, it's LOOSELY and I mean loosely off the novel. There are difference, without spoilers, character backstories and there general sense of moral and being, such as the girls, they are portrayed in this novel with not as fierce and woman powered characteristics as Netflix wrote them into their own movie. However, the general premise of the book is the same as in the movie but with less techy side.

Given the novel wasn't written in 2023, and the ladies were lacking depth and empowerment, I gave the novel an over all 3 out of 5 stars.
