Stephanie Plum Fans should look no further!

What made the experience of listening to The Spy Who Kissed Me the most enjoyable?

I just finished listening to this audiobook and I really enjoyed it! It reminds me of the earlier Stephanie Plum books, which I like to refer to as "Brain Candy". It is written in the first person and you can't help but get into the story right away. I found myself chuckling to myself in the car. So if you're a fan of Stephanie Plum books and just can't wait for Janet to finish the next one, you should really give Stan Stanley a try! You won't be disappointed.

P.S. I liked the narration too - it moved quickly without long exaggerated pauses that occur too often in other audio books.

Would you recommend The Spy Who Kissed Me to your friends? Why or why not?

Yes because it's an entertaining story.

I enjoyed this one

First, I want to say that I appreciate this author not using foul language or audible porn in her books. (the authors that do feel that need make my black list where I don't buy anymore from those authors)

That stated, I must say, my expectations weren't high as I'd read Missing You and and Byte me, and they were ok mysteries, but difficult for me to follow due in part to the narration and some confusion, especially, with Byte me at the beginning. I was having a hard time understanding where virtual reality stopped and reality began in that one. However, I have no complaints about this book, "The Spy Who Kissed me". It was an extremely fun book and a fun story mystery. Didn't know who the bad guys were until the very end. I think the characters were great and would look forward to another mystery book centered on these characters.

Liked the book hated the narrator

I just think that listening to the audio version was a big mistake on my part.
The narrator’s voice is really annoying and that made it difficult for me to enjoy it.
It’s a light, enjoyable book, but the narrator butchered it.
Buy the kindle version.

Ok story annoying narrator

The plot and story was ok. The voice of the narrator really got on my nerves. I'm going to avoid any more books by this narrator if I can.

Trying too hard

The writer is simply trying to hard to be funny - it just doesn't work. Good writers focus on plot and characters, letting humor work its way in naturally. The reader is in the wrong line of work - I know that's harsh, but, man, she is baaad.

Don't waste your credit.
