Weekends pass in a blur, and he can hardly tell day from night. Gravity seems less-than-reliable. The lights have been flickering weirdly, and he feels an odd thrumming sensation in his beard.

Inconsistent
Plot conveniences and contrivances, under developed characters, unexplained character motivations or changes in motivation, and the antagonist being nerfed inexplicably at the end actually causes major plot holes earlier.
Nothing in this book stands out as unique or innovative. Though I believe that this author could absolutely write something better in the future.
