A Great Intro to the Lutheran Church

I have recently left American Evangelical Christianity in favor of something more rooted in classical Protestantism: the Lutheran Church. While I have quickly become passionate about the beautiful theology and liturgy of my new church home, I've only scratched the surface, and need to broaden my knowledge beyond an appreciation of the sacraments.

This book has served as a great way to touch on some of the most important Lutheran distinctive doctrines, and making them all the clearer by comparing and contrasting them with those of other traditions, especially the one I came out of.

I would recommend this to anyone considering joining a Lutheran Church or who are simply seeking a better understanding of it.
