A twisted example describing the demons of the toll-houses.

While the book describes and differentiate the Orthodox Church of understanding of the afterlife from the worldly definition. It is Sad to see the willingness and the usefulness of accepting and including such examples as appropriate in religious book. It's painful and unbelievably harsh such as St. Cyril saw and described these demons as seeing an Ethiopian. In his Homily on the Departure of the Soul and the concept of the aerial toll-houses, that are attributed to St. Cyril have been published and unfortunately has been used as a great example without considering it's impact on the children of God of the sister church of Ethiopian. It greatly pains me to witness this at this time and age. Lord have mercy on us!
