Publisher's Summary

While in school, we learnt stuff we probably don't use today. However, language is essential to almost every aspect of the human condition. How do you expand your business beyond your continent for more sales? How are you going to express your love for that femme fatale that just walked past? How do you get directions to a hotel, from the Gare du Nord? With the knowledge of language, that's how.

This book contains a lexicon of some of the most used words in everyday French conversation. It makes use of the age-old learning techniques of repetition and rote memorization, in an attempt to condition the brain for learning French as quickly as possible. In addition, an auxillary feature called story mode has been included to aid the listener in a test for comprehension.

Finally, it should be noted that while this audiobook will aid in recognition and comprehension of words in the French language, students will also get an understanding of their proper pronunciations. And so, from the beautiful city of Paris, the city of love and all things fashionable, we present to you, The Simplest Way to Learn French.

I Liked It

Almost like taking a shortcut versus actually sitting down and learning reading, writing, and grammar formally. It's not bad. However, I am one to learn things formally. I don't dislike this book though. It can be fun and insightful and hey, I am learning French pretty quickly.

A Quick Guide

The book explains broad similarities between the languages, for instance, English words that end with ____ can be changed to Spanish by changing the ending to ___. You very quickly have a large vocabulary.

Good One

This book gives you the theory of grammar ad than floods you with examples. This is how a language is learned: by practicing the same thing over and over.

The best resource

This book is the best resource for the French language available. The material presented is a stripped down version of the most important parts of the language.

Very good

It helps you to reconstruct those old connections. I wouldn't recommend this book to someone who is starting from zero, but if you took Spanish at some point, this book has a lot of value. And the price is very good compared to other alternatives.

A Helpful Guide to Learning French

I am in a French class right now (and have been taking French for six years) but I still feel like I'm far from being fluent. This short audible has definitely inspired me and though it doesn't go too far into vocabulary, it taught me some idioms and abbreviations and simple rules that are often presented in an overly complicated way in classrooms, or that I had never been taught before.
