I always enjoy reading or listening to books by David Baldacci. However, I found this one to be difficult to follow until about half way through when the story picks up.

excellent listening novel

baldacci produced another thought provoking novel a little different to the normal story line. the story could be factual but its not.

Far more than a legal thriller

The story took some twists I didn't see coming and the overall mystery driving the plot was compelling enough to keep the pages flying by. A peek behind the curtain of the politics of the Supreme Court was very interesting as well.

Continues to be the best Author!

As always, well almost always, another great book from David B! I am striving to read all of his books (about half way along. Narration was well done, delivery just perfect via direct download.

Bad Goes All the Way to the Top

Excellent, excellent, excellent!!! The Simple Truth is anything but! The plot is laid carefully, the mystery twisted excellently!

Profanity

I was saddened that Mr. Baldacci felt it was necessary to use extreme profanity in the beginning of this book. I just about returned it to Audible for this reason. I was glad I continued on because he cleaned up the language and it was a great mystery.

Volume issues

I very much enjoyed the story, but the volume/sound quality on the audiobook was varied and mostly very low.
