It’s the night before Christmas when Casey and Mike get the call. A twelve year old girl, stuck between a rock and a hard place. I've never heard anything like it before. she'd be good for childrens books....maybe, but not for a serious book like this. Her voice was super high pitched, dreadfully slow, borderline condescending and delivered in weird rhythms.

The story itself was great, as with all of Cathy Watson books are. except excellent plot twist. Going forward, I think I'm going to have to read the rest of her books from my kindle.

I'm really disappointed in the narrator, I have to listen sometime 3 times. the story itself was great but it took me a while to understand sometimes who was speaking.
