The scarf that has been all over the news, belonging to a dead young woman with honey-coloured hair. I have to speak to the police before my husband can. I’m drifting in and out of consciousness, but when I hear my wife talking to the police, accusing me of the murder of an innocent woman, a cold fear grips me. I know I’ve got a temper.

Could not stop listening
Secrets, secrets all over the place. Every family has some secrete=and this one has tons of it and those around them helps them keep it. Without going into details, I just have to say to listen/read this novel, it will keep you captivated and mumbling... “no way”,” huh” and “unreal”! So enjoyed this novel and highly recommend it.

Interesting....
This was an interesting story. It lagged in some places and seemed a little disjointed in others. But, it still held my attention. Narration was good, but it was odd hearing a very female voice speaking about something that happened to her wife, but it was really a male character speaking. It threw me a few times. I think the narrator should change when the POV gender changes or the narrator needs to be able to do a better job at portraying different gender voices. Very interesting ending.

The Silent Reflection
This book just wasn't my cup of tea. For one thing, I didn't like any of the characters and found most of them annoying. I also wasn't fond of the style of the book. Each of the main characters had chapters and sections in the book and these were told as internal thoughts of that character. The internal dialogues were so stilted and just didn't feel natural at all. The author repeated some things multiple times and the book could have been much shorter if we weren't told the same things so often. I also had a problem with the flow of the story and got lost in the constant change of characters.
The idea of the story was interesting and I'm sure that some people will love this book. In the end, justice is served for some but definitely not for others. It's not a bad read, just not for me. The narrator did a great job and held my interest throughout the book.

It was a good read
It was a long read, but I loved the twist and the web of secrets. For some reason, I already figured out who was the unreliable narrator and was I wrong?
