Amazing trip!

What a believable trip!

The author takes you on such a detailed harrowing journey through the eyes of the main character. Through his struggles..physically, mentally, and emotionally. You feel a connection with every new character introduced and can't help but sympathize and beg the main character to make the right choices.

By the end of the book I was so happy that he took advantage of his second Chance. What a journey!

Trip into deeper, darker despair each chapter

As the seemingly last person alive, James has some problems to deal with. He's not particularly bright, and he's running out of basic necessities for himself and his dog. Each chapter unfolds an additional layer of an ever-darkening origami story of bleak realizations and failed attempts to regain control. James and his inner voice take us on a journey of trials and tribulations. Some triggering descriptions inside. Narration by Aaron Sills perfectly matches the environmental tone with chilling calm.
