I had never so much as perused a book by SørenK. Just a few pithy quotes pushed me to think I'd like to dig deeper into his thoughts. So, I grabbed a couple of SørenK titles, including "The Sickness unto Death."
This guy doesn't hold back. Before finishing the first chapter I had slowed the playback to 70% speed t(Peter Coates @70% sounds like Gandalf the Wizard) o absorb the firehose of ideas, concepts, related thoughts, etc. coming into my brain. I listened twice to chapter 6 and part of chapter 7. Sure, SørenK has a dated view of women's standing in society, but that fails to diminish the depth of his other points.
If every person could read and understand what SørenK says in this work, at least some might accept who they truly are. At the very least more of us would know why we act and speak as we act and speak.

I want to sit and talk with this dude!

This is a good vocal narration. The translation seems decent enough. I was following along with the kirmmse translation in physical book form and that translation reads a little better. However, the narration is good enough to overlook that I think.

Good narration

I was excited to listen to this book, but unfortunately, I could not follow any of it. The author’s writing style was dizzying, and I just couldn’t get anything out of it. I’m sure others have appreciated it, and others will discover it and get something out of it, but this was not for me.
