Publisher's summary

It’s been four months since I defeated Ivan Grozny, King of the Nightlords. He ran off with his tail tucked between his legs, and no one has seen anything of the Nightlords since.

The Dragon’s Hoard has not remained idle. Two of my mates are days away from giving birth to my children, and I’ve been slowly expanding and perfecting my base while hunting interlopers.

I’m starting to think the Nightlords won’t be showing up again, but if there’s one thing about vampires, it’s that they’re hard to put down for good.

Myself included.

Great listen

Great book can't wait for the next one. This is an adult read not for children. Loved it.

More questions than answers

The writer is putting more questions in then answers but I do love the birth. It is so cute I thought it would be at the end of the book but no it’s close to the beginning and then he’s trying to get his other girls pregnant

no need to listen

you would be better off listening to first 2 then inserting you own ending. this installment is really not worth the time.

a bit slow getting to the point

needs more action (Not in the romance sense) or getting to the point. it got a bit boring towards the middle and had to speed up the audio. the whole "romantic" involvements gets a bit tedious and so I mostly skipped through them.

I enjoyed it but...

I'm really enjoying these audiobooks and I can't wait for the next one to come out. However I hate that Dante King ended this one on a cliffhanger.

A Cliff To Grip To

This book had me hooked and rushing right into the next one. Mainly because it was gripping, and it does end in a cliffhanger that has you wanting to know more as you are about to get the answers you want. A good way to end a book if not a bit frustrating.

I loved the details and introduction to characters and all sorts of new threats that laid waiting in this book. People are complaining about the number of mature scenes which honestly did not detract from the book at all and if you're this far in the series shouldn't honestly bother you at this point heck its part of why us fans love the book. After all, got to get you acquainted equally to each girl like they did the rest.

This book was about the pure chaos starting to brew in the world of writer which is great. There are some answers in this book if you knew what to listen for and hints to catch on to. Which I did and I have not been disappointed. The countess was not disappointing in the slightest and the way she is in and out of the room is very fitting. This was like a splash of Van Hellsing with some Vampire Masquerade in there which starts to touch on creatures from the stars from authors/artist quoted into the book to some not. Which is freaking amazing.

Good story

Really enjoyed the developments in the story, but not so much for the MC. Either way, I'm looking forward to listening to the next book and seeing what happens.

I just can’t anymore...

I enjoyed the first couple in this series as just a poet fantasy/sexy adventure romp. I just tried to ignore all the blatant misogyny and alpha male bullshit because hey, it’s all just in good fun right? But this was too much. From the constant alpha male bullshit to him treating the girls he’s with like shit and ignoring their wishes because “I’m the dragon and they can just shit up and do what I say.” And then of course the women being turned on by being talked down to and insulted. Especially when he’s making serious strategic mistakes because he is “bored of waiting for things to happen.” And when someone rightly calls him out on his bullshit he tells her to shut up and it just turns her on. Ridiculous. I can’t ignore the blatant idiocy anymore to try and enjoy the series. Best of luck to the rest of you.

P.S. - Also, his children are being born, and he gets way more excited about a male child because it’s his “heir.” Yeah that girl isn’t going to have a complex or anything as her brother is favored in life
