Man, I missed The Sheriff!!!

Absolutely loved the premise of this one with the maze and the inhabitants. Brought kayce back. Couldn’t stop listening. I really liked the new accents this narrator brought to the story but the only complaint I have was the narrators impression of the child in the beginning and the women’s voices. The kid voice was obnoxious and the woman with the knife (I couldn’t spell her name) but overall another great story!

The writing was excellent. The narrator is great. Looking forward to the next next book.

Great start to the final series.

So many call backs to the series, and Easter egg for his other book. The narrator does an amazing job. Can’t wait to see where it goes from here.

good start to new series

The Sheriff and the Space Marine

I will have to read the rest of the Sheriff books to really get into this. It was great without reading the whole Sheriff series first but I think it would be best to finish it first. By then, maybe the author will have more in this series out.
Lots of action and suspense mixed with sci-fi and creatures. Fast action and interesting characters. Forbes rarely disappoints.

Echoes on the road to doom

An excellent beginning to this expansion of the forgotten universe! Cross roads meet, seemingly random choices bring hero’s of their own story together. Will Duke over come what is to come? I am sitting on the edge of my seat to find out!!!
