Great fun

In this era of antiheroes and moral ambiguity, Sheriff Duke is a breath of fresh air. Fun, pulpy and trustworthy good times. Highly recommend this series!

I enjoyed this book from start to finished. I am hooked on this series. You will grow attached to the characters.

I continue to enjoy the plot line and characters of the series. Looking forward to starting the next book.

The Sheriff Book 2

Sheriff Duke is one of my favorite M R Forbes characters, so I’m always excited for a new Sheriff book. This one did not disappoint. With Arcadia and Natch City being bullied by Gov. Ruger, The Sheriff sets off to find exactly what is going on. Between The Custodians, Marcus (another new favorite character), Sweetie, among others, Hayden has to figure out who is out to help him, and who is out to kill him. As always, Dave Jackson brings the story and characters alive. I’m always excited to hear how he voices new characters, and he never disappoints.

One of my favorite series

It’s a great series that I’m glad the character has an extended storyline. If you haven’t listened to the first books ensure that you do first or you won’t understand much as to what is going on.
