Publisher's Summary

Sheikh Saladin Al Mektala isn't used to being disobeyed. Incomprehensibly, the woman he summoned to help his favorite mare - the best horse "whisperer" in the world - turned his generous offer down! So he takes matters into his own hands.

The snow is falling, the fire is roaring, and the mince pies are in the oven when innocent Olivia Miller finds a darkly handsome and physically compelling man on her doorstep.... The sheikh she dared to refuse is here to whisk her off to his kingdom - and this time he won't take no for an answer!

Whispering talent?

I could not finish this book. The story was good but the narrator NEVER left whisper mode. Not only whisper mode but a monotone whisper mode. Instead of listening to the story I would wonder why is she whispering? Does she have a sore throat, a newborn, or just wants to be quiet around the house? Also, the monotone whisper is very sleep inductive.

Good story bad audio

I don’t know why Miss Fulfird Brown chosevto give this sheikh king a Rough Slavic accent he sounded like a cheep Russian gangster which spoilt the effect of him as a romantic hero
If you can’t do a realistic accent then a standard educated English would have been fine. After all he’s a king so we assume he’s had a good education
It’s a shame because the story might have been great without the sleazy effect
