Publisher's summary

His eyes locked with mine and I could feel the strength of the mate bond gnawing at me, but I forced it down. Devin eyed me with annoyance and prominent in his gorgeous gray eyes.

“Alpha Devin, this is my daughter,” Papa Jamie said with pride in his voice. Devin gave him a weird look, but turned to me instead.

Before he could speak, I cut him off with a surveying look from head to toe. He was still as hot as hell, if not more; his body was more built, and his face more chiseled than before. He looked all man, and sue me for finding it sexy. My eyes were devoid of emotion as I looked at the pack that flanked him and back into his stormy gray eyes.

I stuck out my hand with a smirk on my face. “Welcome to the Blue Moon Pack.”

He grasped my hand, and shocks ran up my arm and through my body, as they did his, causing his eyes to widen, but before he could react, I continued, “I am Alpha Allison Trust Wells.” My tone oozed confidence and mirth. I heard a few gasps, but the biggest reaction I got was from Devin, whose eyes widened in shock.

A story of hurt, betrayal, and second chances in a world of mystical creatures. Allison is a young Shewolf with a gift from the Goddess Selene. Join her as she navigates the web of secrets and lies woven by the people she once thought of as family and learns forgiveness.

Not all second chances are started on a clean slate....

This narrator though…

I have tried to listen to this narrator, I really have. I guess I will have to read this one! It’s like listening to a 3rd grader reading a book! Or maybe someone who is just learning English & trying to read it. Audible won’t let me return it for a refund!

Wasted potential

Edited poorly so the story jumps around sometimes which makes it hard to follow. The narrator for MC mispronounced many words; including simple words like ‘breathe’ and ‘spar.’ The other narrators (the female in particular) tend to voice characters with emotions incongruent to the situation, making them sound tearful when excited annoyed when they are scared etc. If you ignored all of this and tried to focus on the story alone, it does have potential. Unfortunately there are a lot of distractions to wade through to get there. Maybe the editors are new to the business had a low budget or was just skimming through but it was at the expense of a decent story.

My toddler could do better

First, the narrator distracts from the story. I spent more time trying to place her accent than actually listening to the story. Her bad narration started with mispronouncing words and ended with 0 emotion. Google narrator would have been better. Next, how does thing have 3.2 stars when at the time of this writing 4 reviews left 3 1-star ratings and 1 2-star rating. I’m no math whiz but wouldn’t that be a 1.25 rating? Last, if you can get past the voice “acting” ( seriously, I’ve heard 5 year olds act better) the plot line is just a re-hash of every other werewolf “romance” novel ever. Nothing about it is original or compelling in any way. Save your money, don’t waste your time.

Horrible Narration on both male and female characters.

I feel like my ears have been assaulted by the monotones of both readers as well as horrible English. I wish I would never have heard of this one. If you haven’t listened to it yet you should feel lucky as to have avoided the torture. They should have never let this out to the public and should refund everyone who has purchased the book.

Terrible performance

This book has zero flow in the narration and made it impossible to get into, the story might have been decent but you’d never be able to tell.

Horrible Narration

might have been a great story....I will never know. The female narrator sounds like English is her 2nd or 3rd language. Whoever was listening to this as it was being produced should be Embarrassed! I tried as long as I could to hand in there but, it was just that bad.
