Story
Have you ever wondered how different your life would be if you were more socially confident or charismatic? From early on in our lives, a lot of emphasis has been put on academic ability and its relation to our success or lack of it. While academic ability can be important, it is now believed that in reality our ability to adapt to our social environment is the better predictor of our future success in several areas of our lives, even more so than anything we learn in school.

Audio version not recommended
The hardcopy version of this book may be a better choice. The narrator of the audio version did a very poor job. He sounds more like the fifth grader at the back of the room selected to read the paragraph out loud to the rest of the class. Very little verbal expression or change in tone. Which, above all, makes it even worse for a book of this type.
