narrator can't read
Great story but a professional should be able to pronounce the word 'colonel' without stumbling over it, also other mistakes and pacing issues that made it less of a pleasant read.
I know I sound like such a nitpicking jerk but narration is important and its jarring when it's wrong.

Completely unedited narration
The story is great but this narration has not been edited at all. The narrator clears his throat throughout and then repeats lines. There’s even a point where he reads a sentence, mispronounces a word then breaks character to talk to whoever is with him and says “I still can’t say it” and repeats the word a few times before carrying on. I’d be annoyed if it wasn’t so hilarious!
