I enjoyed listening to all 4 books. This one was the hardest. Mostly because I'm ADHD:-). But, also it was hard to hear some of history that was so sad & could've been prevented. Still glad I learned of so many things I've never heard before, though. Mr. Churchill was an excellent history teacher!

Class Dismissed

a lot more than school history

FYI - there are hundreds of missing chapters, particularly containing specific details about the battles. Otherwise, a fabulous condensed version of one of the world's most important and unique human beings. A+ narration by Christian Rodska.

This series is the ABRIDGED version

The world should rejoice that Winston Churchill was where he was when he was most needed. Evil was loose in Europe and it came very close to prevailing but an island, a people and a leader stepped forward and defeated that evil. There was help but had England collapsed in 1940, what would the world look like today? I grew up when most of the fathers of my friends were veterans of WWII. My dad was a member of a B-17 crew based in England. He, like most of the other men, did not talk about it much. He did say that had it not been for the leadership of Churchill things would have been much different. This series gives you insight into all the key decisions, situations and personalities. I don’t know if the students of today understand what took place in the first half of the last century. To be honest, I have serious doubt concerning the state of education in the United States these past several years. If they want to know what a great leader really thinks and does, they should study Churchill.

Amazing Perspective

loved this book. It provides an insiders view of the last two years of WWII. I learned a bunch about how leadership tried to influence the eventual outcome of our world.

Churchill's history was terrific.
