adele and Daniel conquer again. politics blackmail and family collide with treasure.
good job narrating. even better job of writing.

I love this series.

Mr. Drake again expertly delivers a rousing story of wooden ships and iron men set in the distant future.
I can't recommend this series and this installment more highly.

What happened to Hog

Would you consider the audio edition of The Sea Without a Shore to be better than the print version?

If it ain't broke - don't fix it. The story didn't flow as well as most, and seemed to be more of a "vehicle" to get some points out into the audience. Also, the modifications to Hog's voice are horrible. I'm still a fan of David Drake, but I can't honestly rate this one the same as his other work.

What happened to the voices?

I had gotten used to Hog and Adele being voiced differently in the previous novels

Another great story in the series

I enjoyed this addition to the series. My only issues is the change is voices Victor made for Hogg and Adele. I prefer he would have kept the performance the same as it had been for all prior entries.
