Publisher's Summary

How good would it feel if you could achieve anything you desire without feeling overworked and overwhelmed?

Imagine what life would be like if you woke up everyday with an absolute certainty that you’re going to crush the day with energy and vitality. How is that going to make you feel about your own life?

How about waking up and knowing you have the self-discipline to achieve them? Instead of feeling tired, guilty, and remorseful at the end of the day, you’ll feel refreshed, rejuvenated, and reenergized. You’re ready to kick-start the next day. What if all you needed was a few simple habits and strategies that could help you to stop putting off important tasks and focus on getting things done?

The Science of Self-Discipline is a deep look into what allows us to resist our worst impulses and simply execute, progress, and produce results. Every lesson and principle is scientifically driven and made to be as actionable as possible. If you’re currently not as disciplined as you wanted, it’s not your fault. It’s the society’s fault. Think about it, we’ve all been swarmed with instant gratification in an age of social media, influencers, and...yes...pornography. Look, it is time to conquer the losing battle of self-discipline that we’ve been sabotaged to lose and regain your focus and energy.

“With self-discipline most anything is possible.” (Theodore Roosevelt)

What have you been putting off? What could you have achieved if you not only had the idea, but acted upon the idea? Think about it. Have you ever learned something new and said, "this is going to change my life if I applied it" - and ended up doing nothing? Do you think maybe it is time to realize what you may need is not more information, but perhaps more self-discipline?

Unlike other self-discipline guides, The Science of Self-Discipline is an actionable and scientifically backed guide to aid you on your journey to achieving your greatest ambitions. Unless you change how you are, you will always have what you’ve got. Now is the time to stop living under your potential. Are you ready to fight back and conquer yourself?

In The Science of Self-Discipline, you will discover:

  • How to develop powerful self-discipline by building your "six-pack mind".
  • How to break free of excuses, distractions, and temptations without feeling overwhelmed and overworked.
  • How to use high-level discipline tactics that high performers like the Navy SEALs use.
  • How to discover what motivates you, what drains you, and most importantly, what to do about them.
  • How to get disciplined and stay disciplined...and feel damn good about it!
  • And much more

I'm acknowledging this.

One of my personal favorites for overcoming procrastination. It states the fact and the author don’t mind what his readers will say as long as he presents everything. I finally acknowledged the fact that one of the hindrances is the temptation of technologies.

Great tips

The first step towards Self-Discipline was to read a whole book non-stop and this book was the first of many for me and I’m happy this was the first.
