Sexy and lovely

The story is scandalous but well written. I adored every minute of it. And the narrator was fantastic.

It really wasn’t expected when the scenes of intimate contact between the couple was how would you put it different sexual appetite
The story was going in a good direction and well it was put together well but it was almost as if they made it a big point it wasn’t just the sexual appetite that he loved her for so if you’re not expecting a lot of sex be prepared

Naughty, oh so naughty, but fantastic!

I enjoyed ever minute of this ohhhh so naughty masterpiece. Hot, sweet and oh so satisfying! Very well written, masterfully narrated. A bit taboo, but that only added to the allure for me!

Scandalously Delicious

A treat for those of us who like their historical romances to also fit the erotica genre. Narration brought to life beautifully the strong subject matter and explicit scenes. Not for the prudish... and on my guaranteed replay list!

Cute story, bad narration

This was overall cute, but probably one of my lesser faves from Stacy Reid. I might enjoy it much more in written format though. The reader's inflection was just dreadful and over the top constantly.

I’ve listened to many of Stacy Reid’s book & this one is the best yet! Loved the storyline & the main characters. Well done!

Naughty

“Dear diary,”
I loved the first half, as Lily’s diary falls into the hands of Oliver and it lights a fire under them both.

“We are strangers in the darkness; there are no secrets here.”
Yes, it’s a little inconceivable that two adults could meet in the dark and not be able to identify each other, but it certainly made for an interesting plot.

“Hard and deep, then soft and sweet.”
The second half gets into quite a bit of kink, from voyeurism to butt-stuff (always consensual).
It was naughty and delicious, even if it wasn’t my kink and if it felt like it eclipsed the story.
For a short book, however, this was perfectly frisky.

Random tic: the author has a thing for telling us how erotic things are. If you say she’s in ecstasy,
you don’t need to say she’s in “erotic ecstasy.” That’s just redundant.
