Lily and her husband love each other however when that love plays second fiddle to life the relationship enters rocky waters. Include long absences and unfulfilled needs, no urges, and a crack in the door of desires open where temptations sneak in enticing one to step through. Being anonymous gives that false sense of security which slaps back hard once removed. Can love be salvaged or will those cravings win out?

This is a harsh tale of a woman who descends into a world where her needs for fulfilment exceed the norm. There are definitely intense things happening in this story and not for the faint of heart.

I really enjoyed this book. The best part for me was the epilogue where all secrets were revealed.

Relentless torture and subjugation

I love romance novels, but I have to admit that I've never tried an erotic romance novel. I've sampled many that were recommended to me, but never found one that interested me for the price. I don't mind the sex as long as it's romantic and respectful. This is quite the opposite. I knew going into it that I might not like it. This book was only $.95 so I figured I would try it out, but I think this genre is not my cup of tea. This particular novel lacks romance and focuses too much for my taste on torture and subjugation. It was relentless. Every chapter is filled with extreme perverse acts. I think the ending is probably appropriate for this type of novel, not sure because this is the only one I've ever tried to read, but I thought the end was just sad and disturbing. I actually had to skip several chapters. I only listened to maybe half of them. I skimmed through many parts that were just too creepy and disturbing. I skipped to the end because I was so tired of hearing basically the same perverse scene over and over again, but I wanted to know how it concluded. I think the woman and the two men in the story are all insane and in the real world these people should probably be at a mental facility where they could receive treatment for their perversions. But I guess this is fantasy and maybe some people do fantasize about these sick things. If so, I'm a little concerned about the kind of people who are walking around out there in the world right now. It explains a lot!
