Mara Salvatrucha, known by many as MS-13, an international violent street gang that originated In Los Angeles, California in the seventies to protect Salvadorian immigrants and later evolved to a brutal and vicious criminal enterprise. Unlike other traditional crime syndicates, MS-13 terrorizes and attacks innocent people to enhance their murderous reputation in local communities.
