If you could sum up The Saturday Big Tent Wedding Party in three words, what would they be?

pleasant, winsome, entertaining

What did you like best about this story?

I like the down-to-earth common sense that Precious Ramotswe lives by. She is a delightful character that one wants to sit down and have a cup of redbush tea with.

Which scene was your favorite?

I particularly enjoyed the scene where she confronts a young man about a sensitive issue, which she handles non-judgmentally but in a helpful way.

Another good book

Uplifting stories within stories with creative solutions to little mysteries. The narration is excellent as always

Lisette Lecat is great narrating this story. She gets all the names and accents correct because she is from South Africa. Alexander McCall Smith creates stories that make you feel as they are old friends and you are just dropping by to visit. I do hope there is a book 13 in this series. She got her little white van back in this story.

I LOVE LOVE PRECIOUS!! ALL OF THE CHARACTERS ARE LIKE FAMILY! I LOOK FORWARD TO EACH BOOK! LISETTE LECAT IS AN EXCELLENT EADER, I CAN'T IMAGINE ANYONE ELSE BRINGING THESE WONDERFUL CHARACTERS TO LIFE!
