Publisher's Summary

Please note: This is a short book (7,000 words)

The Satanic Narratives: A Modern Satanic Bible is a foundational text thoroughly deconstructing Satan, the adversarial archetype and the individualism of the Left-Hand Path. This updated Satanic Bible marks a reformation in the religion of Satanism, accessible to the average listener and philosopher alike. Satanists who struggled to find meaning in LaVey's Rand-inspired social Darwinism, will embrace this new focus on activism and social justice.

While the skepticism and secular ethics mirror that of Humanism, this Satanic philosophy goes much further: incorporating rebellion, unrelenting perseverance, being the outcast, the individualist, and the adversary. The characteristics of each aspect of the Satan archetype are meticulously explained and linked to the philosophy presented. This not only justifies why it is worthy of the name "Satanism", but also answers the question of why it can only be called "Satanism".

Ave Satanas!

I enjoyed this book very much...it perfectly matches my default secular philosophy with a dark and provocative twist. I could buy into this, which I guess I did by buying the book. I liked that the morality is not social Darwinist and community is not ignored. Very palatable.

A good book to understand Satanism.

I enjoy learning about other beliefs outside my own. Damien Ba'al did a good job explaining Satanism.

Great Book

Words come off a bit harsh but it's the words of truth that's not buried beneath fancy language. Or words that sound good but in actuality it's direct and straight to the point. It doesn't tell you that you have to agree or go face damnation. it encourages you to think and formulate opinions for yourself. I really appreciate the time Damien put in to this. I have listened through a few times and each time I get something new out of it. Always be the adversary, chaos is the world's true form. chains are meant to be broken so one can be free. Hail Satan!

Dipping your toes in philosophy.

The audio quality is the main detractor for this piece of work however moving past that it is charming in it’s brevity, matter of factness, and verbiage. I would recommend this to anyone on the left hand path who wants to hear a rational and non-theistic point of view or who may just want to skim the waters of academic satanism.

Very well thought out and put together

very well thought out and a great starting point for the aspiring satanist . An atheistic view point that I find nuturing to the human condition.
