Publisher's summary

Rebellious, green-eyed Eleanor never met a rule she didn't want to break. Sick of her mother's zealotry and the confines of Catholic school, she declares that she'll never go to church again. But her first glimpse of beautiful, magnetic Father Marcus Stearns - Søren to her and only her - and his lust-worthy Italian motorcycle is an epiphany. Eleanor is consumed, yet even she knows that being in love with a priest can't be right. But when one desperate mistake nearly costs Eleanor everything, it is Søren who steps in to save her. When she vows to repay him with complete obedience, a whole world opens before her as he reveals to her his deepest secrets. Danger can be managed - pain, welcomed. Everything is about to begin. Contains mature themes.

Read the entire series

I get so frustrated when people give a review but only read one book. I get that this series is taboo I get it. However, this is good writing! The author takes me to a place and world that only good writers can. Maybe they haven’t read a bad book but I have and this is not one. I love Nora and Soren and Kingsley but to understand them you really need to read from the start.

The education of Nora!

If you love Nora as much as I do, you will love her more after listening to The Saint. It is her beginning...you will laugh and cry and hold your breath at times. This is Nora and Soren from the start and it is so good!

Excellant Narrator

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes, it's an excellent listen.

What did you like best about this story?

Eleanor and Søren...of course.

What about Elizabeth Hart’s performance did you like?

She nailed it. Perfect.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Don't know.

Any additional comments?

Excellent Narrator. If you tried listening to The Prince, The Angel, The Mistress or The
Siren and couldn't get into the audiobook because of the narrators don't give up.
The Saint and The King are both narrated by Elizabeth Hart and she's fantastic.

Great series, why so many voice actors ?

Really good series, love the story and the depth of the characters especially seen in this book. However, every single book so far has been with a different voice actor. It’s pretty annoying, once you get used to one voice the next book is in a completely different voice and style, whisg they’d Stick to one person.

Ms Reisz keeps getting better

Would you consider the audio edition of The Saint to be better than the print version?

Elizabeth Hart is a great narrator. This audio version is sooo much better than reading, because I feel like I am in the room while Nora tells her story. It is so much more enjoyable to hear the accents and voice inflections than imagining it from words on a page. Also I can listen while driving, walking or doing repetitive work around the house. A good audio book makes mundane tasks so much more interesting and tolerable. Besides, no one knows what a great BDSM scene I just listened to while picking up veggies in the frozen food section. They probably think my sly smile is for the peas.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Saint?

I love everything about this book, but I loved Nora's speech near the end and the whole way Ms Reisz structured this book between past and present. She ended this book without ending the story brilliantly. Ms Reisz is a talented writer and is getting better with each book. I should be sick of these characters by the 5th book or the plot should be waning or the conflict contrived. But Nora and company just get more interesting, the plot more engrossing and the conflict so intoxicating that I can't wait to read/hear/know more. I must say it again - BRILLIANT.

What about Elizabeth Hart’s performance did you like?

Perfect

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Yes. Especially the at the end.

Any additional comments?

I want to hear more of it all.

The Whole Series Is A Great Read!

I found that there is a series of this books, so I went and got each book in its order and it was a great read, each book gives you insight on each character and help build that understanding of why they are like they are.

I would begin reading and would start disliking a character but then something would happened that would completely changes things and they would become an amazing character. this books keeps you on your toes because if you don't keep up with the story..you will get lost.

I was sucked in — again!

So many reviews I’ve read have mentioned how great the writing is from this author. This will come as no surprise that I totally agree. Once again I was riveted. ‘nuff said.

I’m kinda mad

For 33 chapters I thought the worst thing ever had happened. I was happy and angry when the truth was revealed. Lol

WOW!!! What a Great Book

This book is different from any other I have listened to. Beware it is not for the faint hearted with explicit sex scenes and BDSM content. Having said that - I COULDN'T put it down!! I didn't WANT to put it down!! I fell in love with the world and characters Tiffany created! Her writing style is superb and she helps you navigate the world she created. Never did I feel lost or as if I was being taken for a ride. I TRUSTED Tiffany to share details when they needed to be shared and loved it when she illustrated things instead of telling me things.

Ahhh Eleanor! The girl after my own heart! I simply LOVED her! She is strong and independent even at a young age. I loved how she is curious and isn't afraid to question things. She is sweet (though she'll tell you she isn't), rebellious (not just because she questions things) and she has a bit of a destructive side. She hasn't had it easy, but she tries to make the best of it. All this and she's only 15 years old!

Søren is... a... uhm..... a priest. And that should make him off limits, right? But it doesn't. He's a man. He is human. He is .... Søren. He is complicated, mysterious, honest, loyal, faithful, smart, headstrong.... I could go on and on, but you can find out more when you listen to the book!

The best part of this book is getting to peel the layers off of Søren. He’s not a hero; he’s not an anti-hero. He is not quite the Byronic hero, instead he is a set of contradictions – light and dark, tender and cruel, tragic and heartwarming. He is shaped and formed by his past. But whether he is born this way or shaped this way, at the end he is a sadist. Though this is not a word in my everyday vocabulary, I am challenged to see that concept in a different way.

Okay, so he's a Priest and she's only 15 years old. While some may view this as a reason to not read the book(s) or find this to be "wrong", the way Tiffany tells their story, you will understand and see what everyone else is talking about.

The bantering between Søren and Eleanor is fantastic! Loved every bit of it! And OMG, the sexual tension between these two. YIKES!!! Add Kingsley to the mix and yeah.... Awesomeness!!

I will say that I was a tad bit concerned that I would be "lost" as this is part of a series. However, as "The Saint" is a prequel to the entire series, I feel that you can start with this and then continue with the series. Others have stated that it is best to read them in order as you will get a better understanding of things (i.e. their relationship).

Overall, a fantastic listen! Tiffany has become an auto-buy author for me! I have added the entire series to my TBR Mountain (and has been bumped up to the top). I have no doubt that I will love them all!

Elizabeth Hart was outstanding with the delivery of the story.
