Predictable but still a decent read
The narrators did a really good job making this entertaining. Even though I pretty much knew how the story would go pretty early on, it was still a quick engaging read.

Pretty Predictable
This is an ok listen. Pretty predictable for what it was. It’s currently included in the audible plus catalogue which is good because it’s not one I would have paid for.

Very Good Book
I enjoyed this audiobook. It was a believable story. The characters were good. I didn’t like the husband. It was a little predictable but it didn’t change me liking the book. The narration was good. Though as usual the male narrator probably shouldn’t do female voices. I’ve heard very few male narrators that should.

Boring and predictable
This book had good reviews but I didn’t think the writing or story was at all unpredictable nor realistic! Good start, but fell apart in the extraneous, unnecessary details. The manikin like response of the wife and the switch to the husband without pause towards the end of the story! The happy ending was expected but very unrealistic and was left wanting more explained facts. While the reading was good, the readers were left with a stilted storyline and boring material that I no way can be taken seriously.

Lesson Learned
This tale is a lot more realistic than not. People do all kinds of impulsive stupid things and spend the rest of their lives asking why. My husband was a chronic cheater, he ruined our relationship. Claimed he loves me, when you ask why he cheated he never had an answer. I don't know was his typical one. When a person is truly sorry for any wrong they may have committed they will never ever do it again. That much I know for sure. And I also know, some things just never mend. Why take that chance?
