    1. Judges 9:54 - Abimelech, a judge, asked  a soldier to kill him because of his injuries.

    2. Judges 16:30 - Samson pulled down a building on top of himself to kill a bunch of Philistines

    3. 1 Samuel 31:4 - Saul fell on his own sword when fatally injured in battle.

    4. 1 Samuel 31:5 - Saul's amor-bearer followed his example.

    5. 2 Samuel 17:23 - Ahithophel, one of David’s enemies, hung himself.

    6. 1 Kings 16:18 - Zimri, one of Israel’s evil kings, burnt himself alive in his house when his people turned on him.  

    7. Matthew 27:5 - Judas hanged himself after betraying Jesus.
