The Roommate Arrangement

Blair Milligan might be a little type-A, but she never thought of herself as completely overbearing… that is, until her two best friends drop her from their housing arrangement a week before her pre-college summer coding program is about to start. Blair knows if she tells her parents, she’ll be forced to give up her expensive sculpture class with her dream mentor to cover the cost of an on-campus dorm. Desperate, she agrees to be the fifth roommate to four off-campus sophomores who are also in a last-minute bind. But when she arrives on move-in day, Blair discovers one of her new roommates is Jamie Atwater, her brother Sawyer’s best friend.

Blair begs Jamie not to tell Sawyer about her living arrangement, certain her brother will sell her out to their parents and all her plans will fall apart. So Blair and Jamie strike a deal: she’ll help him finish the app he’s building if he promises to keep her secret. But Blair has spent years following her parents’ unspoken rule to stay away from Jamie, and peering into his world rocks every idea she’s ever had of him and even herself. As her stress mounts over her situation, Blair is forced to decide where she wants to land, and who she wants to be there when she does.
