Way to GO...Ro Bro!!!

So...you like Rom-Coms? Witty, intelligent writing? great narration? And 2 authors who know how "these books should go", but do not fall into the trope trap? Then this is a book you will love. I have never attended a Romance Book Convention...but I feel like I have now...if that Convention has over the top authors, semi-crazed readers, a cooky elderly person and one all mighty, powerful and a little bit twisted AI character named Gregory. Julie & Johnathan have written something about what they both love, for the people they love...the fans. For their 10th book together J & J have shown how they have grown as people and artists and as friends. It is clear they
"get" each other...any genre they want to tackle together is OK with me.

I have read every Julie has written, including the ones with Johnathan, and they are some of my favorite books of all time. I laughed aloud alone in my car many times while listening to The Ro Bro. The narration was perfect (as always) and made the book even better. Thank you for continuing to bring good books to the readers!!

Best book I’ve listened to this year

I’ve never been a fan of romcoms before but this one was great. The characters were engaging and the use of language acrobatics kept me on my toes. The narration was absolutely the best I have heard this year.

The humor

Great story. A bit too many GD’s and FBombs for me but other than that, enjoyable.

An effulgence of wit & romance

I had left a five star review, but I woke up this morning calling every group that came to mind an effulgence of [group of stuff]. I thought I should share. Food Lion delivered an effulgence of groceries. We drank an effulgence of margaritas. #AnEffulgenceOfRoBro

Yes Sir, may I have some more

I never write reviews. Ever. This is my first. Funniest, wordiest, best book ever! Had to look up the meaning to some of the words. I love when a book makes you do that. The magic in this book is real from the characters to the plot. I think Raylen/Leslie was the one of the best characters to love and hate. I mean you feel bad for her but you don't. I loved everything about this book. Made me LOL and tear up too. Thank you again Julie and Jonathan for another wonderful read, books are my escape and when it's a good book it leaves you feeling the best!

Behind the curtain

Jonathan and Julie don’t disappoint in this funny, romantic peek behind the curtain of romance writers. Although I have never had to use a dictionary while listening to an audiobook, it was well worth it (and my vocabulary has improved!). Witty and entertaining.
